Between Kongsfjord and Berlevåg, the main road RV 890 follows the storm-beaten coast of the Arctic Sea through bizarre and wild fjord sceneries. The eroded landscape characterises by torn mountains and cliffs, tilted and folded layers of sandstone and shale, as well as many fields of an-cient elevated shorelines – an Eldorado for anybody interested in geology.
