The church of Berlevåg is a so called “Long church” with 300 seats, built in concrete. It was designed by the architect Hans Magnus and consecrated in 1960. The altarpiece is made by Kåre Jonsborg, while the 9-voiced pipe-organ was built by the Vestlandske Orgelfabrikk. Next to the church’s main-entrance a charity-fond has raised a monument for the ones perished at sea, un- veiled in 1987. |
