In Løkvika, civilians and partisans fought side by side in their resistance movement against the German occupa- tion forces during WWII. A fisherman-cabin, which was of great importance to the Norwegian resistance, is re- stored at the site located approx. 16 km from Berlevåg by the main road RV 890.
